James L. Carrothers, Founder and CEO

Carrothers Associates was founded in 2007 by James L Carrothers. With 10 years of SAP experience at the formation of the company, James L Carrothers combined 20 years of supply chain experience to form a company with a solid understanding of business coupled with the benefits of the SAP ERP solution.

As chief executive officer, James L. Carrothers brings extensive industry experience to Carrothers Associates with over 20 combined years at Union Carbide, Ralston Purina, Continental General Tire and Draftex Corp. in diverse areas including production supervision, industrial engineering, purchasing management and corporate purchasing. While at Continental, James was responsible for global procurement of commodities for North American operations before joining the SAP implementation team leading the MM module. At Draftex James managed all SAP procurement activities for the half-billion dollar US plant. In addition, James has over 18 years of SAP industry experience.

James received his Master of Business Administration degree from Queen's University in Charlotte, NC. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and two Bachelor of Science degrees from North Carolina A&T State University in Industrial Technology and Business Administration. James also completed Leadership and Management Essential Certificates from Harvard University.

Patrick O. Peart, Senior Member

Patrick O. Peart brings extensive financial experience to Carrothers Associates with a total of over 30 years at Moore North America , WWGrainger and Jefferson Wells Intl. Over those years experiences included plant accountant, purchasing supervisor, plant controller and accounting manager. While at Moore North America Patrick was responsible for accounting functions of one of the manufacturing plant, then as a plant controller responsible for all the administrative and financial functions of one of the manufacturing plant. During this tenure Patrick was selected to be on the team implementing SAP at Moore, then doing post implementation support for Moore North America.

In 2005 while at Jefferson Wells, Patrick participated in the implementation of SAP at TIC in Steamboat Springs Colorado, a construction company. Patrick also participated in implementation in Xstrata Nickel a mining company in Canada. In the public sector Patrick provided SAP training for the Army and Navy both in the continental USA and overseas. All SAP processes were practiced in the FICO module with concentration in asset management, project systems,
